Sorry, I did not reply. I just did another post. But to answer your tweak question. I checked out my settings and they are at optimal right now. I have Windows 2000 and had to do no tweaking. I also see you were with Velotel. I was bummed at the way they handled the Northpoint shutdown. I spent 250 dollars for hookup and only had 5 months of DSL through NorthPoint. | Yeah, I had Velotel from December until March. I was mainly pissed because they just simply ignored their customers and didn't answer the phone the day after shutdown. Pretty shitty if you ask me.
I didn't know TDS would open a ticket with Ameritech. I was told by some of the techs that my problem probably has to do with the distance I am from the CO.
Did you need to open a ticket to get the 600 DL speed or did it come up that way?
I'm just west of HWY 100. How about you?
