It also added channel 12 and 13 for me, which I guess means it's for the european version of the router or something. | |

Do all euro firmwares have channels 12,13? Is it illegal to use these channels in the americas? | |

| Well from what i gathered from the dutch support is that they received the 1.41.7 from elsewhere. maybe even the US:)
the only difference from 1.41.7 and 1.41.8 was L2TP Passthrough support.
is anyone wants to check out the US setup pages from 1.41.2 and see what difference there is from 1.41.7 and let us know.

| i recently got a new wrt54g, it came with fw 1.42.2. I am attempting to downgrade the fw, i 'upgraded' to 1.41.8 without any problems. i then tried to downgrade to 1.41.2, but i get an error saying i can't go backwards? (i thought that was the point of going to 1.41.8). does anyone have any ideas about this?
also, is there a better way to be doing this? does using the tftp method to update firmware bypass this issue?
