Re: [wireless] WRT54G_1.41.8_ETSI_code [Beta]

BTW linksys.nl quoted me this yesterday

"Linksys will release a new official firmware for this device soon so please check the website regular."

I hope they keep their word on that:)

Hey it runs Linux. Thus the firewall and NAT features are completely separate. However, whether or not Linksys lets you do it from the interface, is another question altogether.

Works well with my WRT54G 1.0 (europe)!
I had to revert to factory settings however...

i recently got a new wrt54g, it came with fw 1.42.2. I am attempting to downgrade the fw, i 'upgraded' to 1.41.8 without any problems. i then tried to downgrade to 1.41.2, but i get an error saying i can't go backwards? (i thought that was the point of going to 1.41.8). does anyone have any ideas about this?

also, is there a better way to be doing this? does using the tftp method to update firmware bypass this issue?

thanks
