Free space sim game

Released via GNU so it's free and legal. Don't know much about this game as I just stumbled acrossed it on one of the 3D graphics forums I frequent. I'm downloading it as I post. There is a MAC, Win32 and Linux version available...

»vegastrike.sourceforge.net/

Based upon info from the url above it appears to be like a Wing Commander type game.....

If you prefer car racing, here's another open source game:

racer.nl

It's available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

Sorry you did not enjoy the game...and yes it was a big download. I would prefer not to write reviews on software but rather inform the readers of it being available, letting them decide if it is something that they would be interested in.....In your case, I guess you did not like it....

How about thinking before you download something? Do not blame others for your lack of attention.

We can't drag the troll out in daylight and have him turn to stone, so let's not feed him and perhaps he'll die of boredom. His life must be pretty sad if this is how he gets his jollies, but let's not encourage his behaviour.

You are right, I just noticed that the anonymous coward was posting through a proxy.

Well, you're of course allowed your own opinion, but if you play it and don't like it, don't blame others, you could've searched for reviews on google or usenet, plus you could see the size of the download anyways.

Btw posting anon is allowed, but most users treat anon posters with bad attitude as trolls since most of them are. Why not just register, it's not like you'll be retaliated against because you posted your own opinion.

It'd also be nice if the trolls... err... anonymous posters used The Queen's English to post their views, too.
