thanks. i'm a TCP/IP dummy, so let me get this straight:
after navigating to the internet properites section of my control panel, i then select the device line "TCP/IP xxxxx" (the xxx being the name fo the ethernet card that BA installed into my computer)-
you also suggest setting a static IP address...i can pick any number between 0 and 254? this seems too easy...
am i missing anything? this'll do it?
