I have:
tcp/ip -> My NIC
tcp/ip -> AOL Adapter

I've tried deleting them all and one by one replacing them. There was no change.
I'm pretty sure I'm not using PPPoE...I've never heard of it until checking out this site. So I haven't seen anything that mentions PPPoE anywhere when messing my settings and such. I was assigned the static IP address from my ISP.
