MTU will not effect your download in any noticable manner. MTU is 1480 with XP and 1492 with RASPPPoE, can't get any higher respectively.

hello , i have installed windows xp corp sp1 , and need help with the mtu setting , can any one plz tell me how to change the mtu setting, cuz my downloading speed is not going to its full downloading speed.
plz help me out
