| Vonage ATA, Softphone, and Call Forwarding?
I currently have the Vonage Unlimited Business plan, with the "main" and "fax" lines terminated on an ATA at my home office. The "main" line forwards on busy or no answer to my Nextel phone, which usually works fine. I'm considering the "softphone", however... there are times when I'm traveling that having the softphone running on my PC would be preferable to using the Nextel.
I gather that the "main" line and a "softphone" line can be set up in a "hunt" mode where both ring, and you can answer either. My question is... if you don't answer either, can the call still then be forwarded to the "busy/no answer" number (in my case, th Nextel phone)? Does the "softphone" line come with it's own full set of "dashboard" features like a line terminated on an ATA?
