Yeah i'm on the Nortel modem. I figured they wouldn't ask you to return the newer modem but my question is would you still see the increase in speed which you did going from reguler HSE to Ultra HSE?

 The Nortel modem is only capable of 1.0 megabit speeds, whereas the new modems are capable of much more. Since HSE has been upgraded to 1.5 megabit speeds, once the Ultra trial is over, you'll drop down to 1.5 which is faster than the 1.0 you've got now with the Nortel.
