|  Question on Ramp Up DL Speed
The last I saw on an earlier thread was about 10 days. My mom just got SBC DSL 10 days ago and her speed has been steady at 300-320 down and up @ 108. She only lives about 6000 ft from a CO.Been to the Tweak section and everything looks good. No retransmissions and RWIN within range. Does she need to keep waiting to see if they will increase her download. She has a speedstream 5100 modem, I think. Modem has been left on continuously, but computer is turned off @ nite. If any of the techs are out tonight and need a dsl # or address to check via pm I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Well, if she's located 6000ft from the CO she wouldn't have been on the ramp up plan, so check what package she has. SATASI |

Thanks for the info. It looks like she has gotten on the Basic package plan for $26.95. Is there a way she can get on the Standard Plus package as that plan is the same amount but has speeds on DL of 384-1500?

Sounds like you are in range for Standard Plus. Only Me
can probably get you setup with that.
SBC appears to be having a lot of problems lately
accidentally setting up new customers on BASIC instead
of STANDARD PLUS by mistake as it would seem. |
