Sacramento, CA | Re: RasPPPoE installation problem yes you should! RASPPoE harnesses DUN components, so it needs to incactive. What I am more interested is why bother with RADPPPoE when WinXP has PPPoE support built-in that should work for 99% of people. | |

| Re: RasPPPoE installation problem Ok, I see what my problem is. I thought that was to install RASPPPoE. I see now I just unzip the folder. I am just giving RASPPPoE a try to see what it's like. I have heard a lot of good stuff about it. Even some people reporting slightly lower pings and higher transfer rates with it. If I like it I'll keep it. If it doesn't offer me anything extra I'll just stick with the built in client.

| I disconnected and rebooted and it still gave me that error. I just kinda gave up. I was just curious what it was like. I heard it has a better MTU settings for DSL also.
