 How?

How can I ditch my landline if evil telcos want to hold me hostage. Some people can't get Cable, and the last time I checked, Qwest didn't allow DSL lines without POTS.

Speaking of Qwest, no one ever speaks of Qwest.
Is it the same with other baby bells, or are they behind the pack once again?
