Re: Anyone notice there is lots of DNS ping timeouts?

Thanks posting the DNS for speakeasy. I'll change them as soon as I post this reply. hehehe...

I'm going to ditch Cyberonic once my contract is over soon. I'm real tire of their excuses that they keep saying their DNS server is fine when I told them there are lots of people are also complainting in this forum. All they do was to give me a bunch of DNS list and I told them I have all of them and I'm tire that I have to switch over manaually every time it is time out.

At first, they say it have to do with the hardwired dns information on the Efficient Router which I'm using my NetGear Router. The later today when I spoke to Tony who claim to be the Techniqucal Manager and saying there is something with my NetGear Router. He advice to use only the Efficient Router and to test to see if I still ping out. How can that be when others also having the same problem. I even said haven't you guys check out this forum about the DNS issues other users experiment? He replied saying that if they call we'll fix the problem with them. That's so funny... Tomorrow, I'm going to call them and see what they have to say.

I still remember in the beginning how many people said they have professional technical support. Oh yeah right... If they do, they should at least admit the dns problems that we complaint.

Even worse, their email server is slow like turtle that I never use the e-mail accounts that was provided. I'm still yahoo e-mail account.

Well, I have learned my lesson. Cyberonic is history as far as I'm concern.

Re: Anyone notice there is lots of DNS ping timeouts?

I am sorry to hear about that. But "Tony" is nothing but rude person(I never call him engineer neither technician)
1st, he never listen what we say.
2ed, he believes no one knows DSL system but himself.
3ed, he doesn't have any commonsense how to deal customers.
4th, he never gives us any solution which works well.
Overall I've never met this much horrible "Technical Manager"
I will not say details but enough was enough. I am so tired to deal with Cyberonic. Since then I haven't called them at all. Even my ADSL speed was slow downed to 300/150 which is quarter of it used to be.

Poor Japanese network engineer
