How many 'dynamics steps?'

Ok, so I am testing out the new beta CLI version for Mac OS X. The terminal updates every so often with information that starts with "Values over the last 100 out of 6800 Dynamics Steps". The dynamics steps number goes up 100 each time the screen updates. My question: How many dynamics steps are in a WU? Just trying to figure out how long a WU takes with this new client. Thanks.

Do you know what protein you are working on?
Most of us are getting dna_binder_mimics lately which have 500,000 dynamic steps

it all depends on what your folding, but for the most part everyone is getting, the 500,000 Mimics.

I don't know what protein it was, but it turned out to be about 275,000 steps.

I won't know what is going on with mine until I get home in an hour or so.

Does anyone know if there is a way to tell what protein you are folding if using the console version? Is it identified in a header file or somewhere else?

Thanks gizmo. Just got home, checked and it says:

Protein: DNA_binder_mimic
- Frames Completed: 0, Remaining: 100
- Dynamic steps required: 500000

At about 285k now, so guess its gonna be a while.
