I agree... anyone that goes against the industry with proprietary crap should go down. The whole keyword thing is such a joke. nfl.com, keyword nfl! wow that's soooo helpful. anyway, aol sucks. maybe the little yellow guy will have a wipeout with his chick on the motorcycle...

Saying that narrowband will be around forever is like saying that because someone invented the car, people will still use a horse and buggy because the car causes too many problems. Obviously....people opted for cars over horses and buggies, since we see thm very seldom on roads anymore.

Nope there are many folks who really aren't much interested in most of the web. For them, AOL is a perfectly viable alternative. I would not care for it, but many others do. If they revamp their price structure and get the broadband business going, they'll do well.
