Here's a good one for you. Email sent from one OOL address to another OOL address on Monday. It never gets delivered. Two days later, it bounces back with the following error: 554 5.4.6 Too many hops 26 (25 max). Remember, this is from one OOL address to another. They can't even deliver mail properly within the OOL system!

With any other ISP this would raise an eyebrow, but with OOL all we say is "It's another normal OOL email issue".
What a joke. The amazing part is they won't consider using a black list to throw that SPAM away before it enters the mail server. I bet the mail server would be more reliable if it was not spending all that time delivering that crap mail. |

Bingo! I couldn't agree more. Just as long as they don't use their own Webmail spam filter which is another joke.

1 edit | The spam filter seems to be working just fine... I only got 537 (all but 7 caught by mailshell on my PC) in a 30 hour period the other day.
Maybe they should seek a consultant to come in and evaluate their server farm and to make recommendations on how to fix their problems. OOL clearly doesn't have the expertise to solve their own problems... |
