Did it with the Danger Den Z-Chip Waterblock.. Thing would not stay stable and anytime I moved a water tube it would short the chip out.. It finally did it's damage though..

But, I just ordered a New Swiftech MCW-20 WB and new Hoses which will be in next week...

Looks like you need some AMD CPU pressure pads for that.

If you do the Vdimm Mod and Vcore mod to the P4C800-E, would you be so kind as to show off your digital camera skills and take pictures of the steps involved.

Thanks for the pics...does it matter how long the wires are...or do you make them long enough to move the VR out of the way?

I so want to do the mod...I just don't want to fubar my board with 0 soddering skills.

Wire Length does not matter.. just get them long enough to mount the pots in a good location that has easy access.

Are you using Prime95 to condition everything? I would love to use something in Windows to condition, not that memtest86 isn't easy to use.

hey hag for vdimm mod the VR needs to be set at 50K? I haven't been able to find the exact ohms I need to set it for. Plus I only have a 10K VR here which I do not believe will do the job, but then again mrspec said he did his p4p800 with a 1K VR. I need to find somewhere local that carries 50K VR's. I spent all morning calling places in the yellow pages, but none sold them. Rat Shack only has the 10K ones, and there is no Fry's within 100K miles!;)

Sorry to cloud up your thread with questions, but I am sitting here ready to fire up the iron, but I don't want to kill the board cause I used the wrong VR!

A 10K might work But I doubt if you will get the voltage under 3.2V when set at max in Bios..

It took about 15 Turns down on the pot to get it to 3.3V and this is a 25 Turn pot, So a 10K Might work out Fine..

I always set it at max to keep from cooking anything
