Question about P8 "Rate Centers"

Hi All,
I'm alittle confused about what the "rate center" code thats returned when you check to see if the service is available for Packet8 service in my area. It returns "Rate Center (City)
NWYRCYZN01" I did the search for my area which is New York. Does anyone know what that code means, or where i can decipher what it stands for?

Thanks,
Tony

I think that zone is Manhattan. I believe it is 212. I thought i saw someone talking about that... but dont be surprised if they dogg you with a 917 or 646 number...

I helped to friends set up Packet8 who used that rate center and both got 212-561-xxxx numbers. So it would seem to me to be 212 (which they tell me is Manhattan).

Yeah me too @212-561-xxxx

Phone number in rate center: NY/NWYRCYZN01

So nice to have a 212 #. I used to have 212 TR7-7581 in the 60's, so its nice to get a nyc# again.
