There is a built in firewall on the 678s. The difference is that you can configure the 678 firewall.

Any 678 will do, just update it with the most current firmware via the cisco site and you're good to go.

Another option that is much more economical would be to buy a MSN1000 and flash it with SMC7401BRA firmware.
