I am a teacher and would like to show some of my recordings in the classroom from my Scientific Atalanta DVR that I recieved from Time Warner Cable. I am having a slight difficultry making the DVR talk to the VCR.
Any suggestions? Thank you |

| reply to sakuraharu It isn't that hard....
There's only one active video output on the DVR...you send that to the input of your VCR and do what ever you need to do to have it record from its Line Input.
If your fancy (or don't like constantly plugging and unplugging cables)...you can put an A/V switcher like the JVC JX-S300....which has positions where it has inputs and outputs. So your TV can see which ever device is selected, and the output also shows up on the other devices input.
Or you can get crazy....my system has 4 A/V switching boxes to route the maze of devices.
