Just because Ameritech built all systems does not mean anything. They are separate plants, thus will have their own problems. Its all in the way the system is maintained, and it sounds like the IL and OH systems have a problem maintaining the networks, while Michigan(WOWs largest system) is maintained properly. |

Please don't treat me like I'm clueless about cable. You really don't have to explain to me how any of this stuff works. I spent several years working with inventors at GI/Motorola in advanced development of cable technologies (look at some of the latest Motorola patents and there are others still not published or issued), so I understand plant issues etc.
My main point was that I would have hoped that WOW would have maintained similar operating standards across all their networks. I wasn't trying to engage in a technical discussion. |
