It was 3 this morning in Groton, I almost froze my canolli off. I'm having some work done on the car on friday, I just hope it snows (if it does) after I get home.

I brought my snow tires to Wallingford Tire and Auto yesterday to be balanced. They should be ready today or tomorrow.
Do they have any idea of how much we may get out of this yet?

I did check the National Weather Service site. They said as it looks now, a dusting to an inch by the end of the commute on Friday. I love the rest of it: "...further accumulation will depend on how the storm tracks."

The 11PM forecast and the newest computer models are saying SNOW and lots of it this weekend. Starting Friday and lasting into Sunday with a foot or more possible.

...A STRONG UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM WILL APPROACH FROM THE WEST LATE FRIDAY NIGHT. THIS WILL RESULT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A STRONG COASTAL LOW OFF THE NORTH CAROLINA COAST EARLY SATURDAY. ALTHOUGH IT'S TOO EARLY TO BE SURE...THIS SYSTEM COULD RESULT IN A MORE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL ON SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT...BEFORE EXITING TO THE EAST ON SUNDAY.

Pointless fact: Anyone remember the special edition Pontiac Grad Am/Prix they sold back in the late 1980's or early 1990's? It was a "nor'easter" edition and it had some funky graphics on the rocker pannels. I can't find anything on the net though....

WTNH says a little friday and then get slammed over the weekend.
Hmm I don't like the hill by our new house and my dad is out of the country I might be hijacking his Explorer for the weekend and leave my golf safe and sound in the garage.
I should remind mom that we need a new snow plower tonight (our new driveway is rediculusly long).
