mm04 @client2.attbi.co | Phone/router recommendations for Packet 8 Need recommendations on both corded and cordless phones that work well with Packet 8. Must have message indicator, call waiting/caller ID, 3-way calling, etc.
The router I'm using is a Netgear RP614. I've read that some people experience problems with Packet 8 using certain routers. Is this router one of them? On occasion, calls do cut off with me.
Any links to where I can purchase these phones or router are appreciated. |

and the other is a AASTRA Telecom Venture multiline phone.
I have no complaints, most people need to realize that the ISP is the bottleneck here and not the P8 or Vonage service.
I have major issues with ATDN in Atlanta, they are always spiking to 330ms or more during the day and night. |

I've used P8 for almost one year, with linux/IPtables, a friend of mine use a Linksys router. Both don't see to have any problems. |

 | I'm using the Linksys BEFSR41 and it works great. I haven't had any issues whatsoever. It was plug'n'play. I was up and running in a few minutes. I made sure I had the latest firmware upgrade for that router. |
