I think the main problem here is that it's just such a shame so much music will be destroyed.. There's a very good chance some percentage of it will never be heard again.
Sure, same thing happens on daily basis with music that is never recorded or written down.. but if in this case it's highly preventable.

| That is what I am saying. All those artists from every corner of the world. Literally. It took years to build mp3.com and is all honesty, it was the best. IUMA is ok, but it's like being on dialup when you download. Their servers are way to slow. I imagine that many of the musicians will never be heard from again that were on mp3.com Just sad to really see it go......
How can I say it's another case of big business screwin the indy musician? Who owned mp3.com? VU before they sold it. It's the musicians on their that are the most hurt. |
