Can we see your signal levels? That would me guess, as depending on what lights are blinking, it usually indicates that the modem is trying to find a downstream and upstream path.

No necessarily. You can take the modem to your local office and ask if you can trade for something else. Are you having trouble with yours? I guess you might be, but it could also be your signal levels.

| Adam, is there any way to check the signal levels of the TJ210?
It doesnt have an internal webpage that I know of, and I havent been able to get that docdiag utility to work.
The tech came out yesterday and said I had low signal levels and that is why my connection was slow. According to him, he fixed that at the main amplifier feed, or something to that effect. He didnt really say all the much when I was asking questions other than I had low signal.
I called them back that night because they didnt bring out another modem, and the lady I spoke with said that was as the discretion of the field tech, which I thought was kinda odd.
They setup another appointment for Monday. Maybe I'm wrong, but I dont think it should be that big of a deal to get it exchanged for another one since we pay a rental fee every month of $3. |
