I have heard "rumors" of the possibility of changing the MAC on a modem but this could easily cause permanent problems with the modem. Not good to mess with hardware, hence the hardware/physical address. IE. Michael Jackson changed his physical/hardware atributes and it doesn't appear that it helped him at all ( just an opinion )
And as Hob stated, it definately would not help your surfing ability. |

Changing the Mac address of your modem is not a good thing to do!
As the Mac address allows your modem access to the network through provisioning changing it would instantly disconnect you.
Furthermore I do not consider an external cable modem "hardware on your computer"
Edit: Having read up a bit on this program it spoofs the Mac address of devices in your machines OS. As the Modem Mac never shows in your OS as it is an external device I conclude its impossible.
