I'd suggest using the lowest RWIN that gives you the most consistent speeds. You could up your RWIN to 999999 and you might see a speed improvement but if there's any retransmissions or packet loss anywhere between you and the machine you're communicating with, the 999999 will slow you down.

Just did another tweak test with my rwin, not Jazzman's. And the tweak test was right on. No re-transmissions or sacks sent. Look.:)

Like I said, make it any number you want. Double what you have.

If there's no issues between you and the server it won't matter how high you make your RWIN.

I left window scaling on. And time stamping off. It fixed what was wrong with Jazzman's tweak. Would never have thought of that tweak.
