Re: lol

Hell, why don't they just show the movie to all the reviewers in a given area all at once in a movie theatre? Frisk them for cameras, and have armed guards standing around, making sure there is no funny business. Frisk them again when they leave, and make them sign agreements that say that they won't tell what happens in the movie, nor put it down if the movie sucks.

Then, when the movie is shown to the public, frisk the movie patrons, and have the same guards around. 4 per theatre, roaming around, ought to be enough to discourage those damn movie pirates. Kinda like having some Gestapo types around to intimidate the folk into staying in line.

This way, the MPAA will be able to stop that dreaded movie piracy, and fleece the consumer with low quality movies, since we won't know what we're getting into. Of course, it'll also drive the customers away in droves, and then the MPAA can say that "our measures were ineffective, it must be those damn P2P'ers and pirates scaring everyone away"...

(all tongue in cheek of course)

Re: lol

You have very good points, theater balconies can be easily converted to catwalks for the armed gaurds, how about
I-bolts drilled into the arm rests of the seats so theater patrons can be handcuffed to them to prevent the so called funny business.
How about no more dimming of the lights, or even installing floodlights that turn on when the movie starts.
Why frisk? Just incorporate mandatory strip searches.
Tearful goodbyes through chain link fences surrounding multiplexes when loved ones go to see the new summer box office hit.
This will stop fungus from spreading.
