The problems that they were talking about are likely related to number portability. Apparently ATT used a different third party LNP company than all the other wireless carriers. This is making it a nightmare to get your number ported from ATT to other carriers. I imagine that there are lots of pissed off customers calling in now, and this is keeping you from getting through.
