I've practically stopped updating this again. It's becoming pointless to talk about site changes because state has been keeping an excellent log of feature updates here, a list which was rarely updated in the past. justin also launched a new site blog here recently, which looks like it will keep members updated on the inner-workings of the site, as well as new features. So for now, this journal is defunct. I might updated it sporadically if there is something regarding dslr that wouldn't be discussed at either of those sources.

The thumbs up/down function for anonymous posts was finally fixed. It's been working the wrong way since thumbs downs were done away with (before I was a member). It used to erroneously display a thumbs up to the anon poster when they got a thumbs down. See here.

I'm not sure when this happened (sometime within the last week), but Alien_Latino was finally banned. edit: his last post was mar 18, so it was probably the 18th or 19th It's pretty rare to see an entire account removed here. I can't remember any complete bans ever happening (except maybe spammers). If you try to go to his profile, you just get this message. said by A_L's profile : This account (87134275) has been removed from the site permanently, probably for terms-of-use violations (spam, harassment, forum disruption) His name was also changed to a random number with no obvious significance.

Well, it's been ages since I've posted anything. I thought I'd bring a couple threads to anyone's attention if they don't know about them already. (is it ok to post links to the cooler and pub?) First, removed posted a very interesting thread a few days ago (well, interesting if you care at all about the "real" removed ) »Some people are different... And Archivis made a return to the forum. You may or may not remember him for the site "The Internet Hitman". »Revive your old thread here. He actually returned a couple months ago, but he's pretty much only been posting in the WOW forum untill now.

the "My" changed to "Your..." on the sidebar (top bar if you have the horizontal view) oh, and Bobb5 became a MVM after all: »[OT] Congratulations Bobb I guess all those "bobb for MVM!" fanatics finally got their wish. Congrats bobb. You've saved me a couple hundred bucks at least over the past few years.
