With the government's abysmal network security, the chances of an employee slip-up exposing millions of email addresses in a "do-not-spam" list is very real.
And, with spammers now working hand-in-hand with hardcore criminals (with the Mafia not far behind), to crack unsuspecting user's machines to send their spew, an FTC-run "do-not-spam" email list is a guaranteed target.
