| reply to Qumahlin And here in texas about a month ago they forcefully changed all of our ips to 24 or 67, I know they did it to mine. My modem lost connection and reconnedted with a new ip all by itself. -- "The Stars Win The Stanley Cup, The Stars Win The Stanley Cup", Ralph Strangis. |

| reply to Kommie There are 2 pools thats ex-att areas can pull from for new "comcast branded" addresses. 24 and 67. Nothing really going on other then your IP renewed and for one reason or another the old one was not available so it pulled another and it happened to come from the 67 pool -- Forum Posts:3504 |

About the cap, I don't know. Keep your fingers crossed!
It already was a comcast one. 24.Something was a change from 12.something now i am at 67.something. |

1 edit | reply to Kommie Here in North Haven, HSI finally became available this October. When I got it the first week it was out my ip was 12.something for a week or two. Then I think it changed to 64.something. And recently in the last few weeks it changed to 67.something. When someone down the street got HSI the same time i did, their ip was 64 or 67 while mine was still 12. Still no speed increase with my SB4100 though. |
