Does any one know the default username/password for the router/modem combo they give? I remember seeing it in a thread on here before, but I'm having a hard time finding it.

I believe user name is Comcast and password is -1234 or just 1234. |

Is there anyone who knows the modem config IP? I don't mean the 192.168.0.1, since that's the router config, but the modem IP... |

1 edit | It's all in the same - you can access the modem info from all of those same internal pages.
Click on "Technician Setup" on the upper right of the internal pages to get to the Modem IP, Gateway info, etc.

| Don't have that under technician set up. I've got the black wireless g router, which I think has a different config than the one you have (yes, I've read your long thread about HN) 
Basically, what I'm looking for is some way to read the modem configuration page much like the surfboard modems used to do. |
