Hi I am in Buffalo NY with Powerlink
I am using the Scientific Atlantic DPX110 and when I unplug it and plug it back in the power and pc light go on and the status light goes blinks at increasing speed until it is steady like it normally does.
Now normally when I try to connect to a web page the cable light blinks and I get the site but starting yesterday afternoon nothing happens the web page doesnt load, and no other programs can get online, I have reset it and powered it off and on many times but it wont work.
My next door neighbor has the same service and modem and his is working (I am using his connection right now).
Is this a modem problem or a signal problem or is there any information that you need from the 192.168.100.1 site? |

| after comparing the 192.168.100.1 website to my neighbor's here is what is different.
Under Startup I have:
Boot State: forwarding denied forwarding denied
Get Config File OK disco.cm (his is sa.cm)
Under Signal:
My downstream power is -11 dBmV while his is around positive 7 |

Of course, it could just be a big misunderstanding. Probably a drunk tech at the call center.
May just be the new name for the John Travolta edition modem config file.
