Former Blackhawk Keith Magnuson died in a car accident near Toronto today. He was a rough and tumble guy on the ice, but when he took his skates off, one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet.

| I remember Keith Magnuson from his college days at the University of Denver in the late 60's. He and some of the other members of the "D.U." Hockey team lived across the hall from us at 1900 South York Street in Denver. Those boys knew how to party! Off the ice he really was one of the nicest guys. . . |

It is a sad day for all Blackhawks fans.
The Hawks could use a few more players that played with the amount of heart and passion that Maggie had for the game, both on and off the ice.
