[HELP] "A Network Cable Is Unplugged" BuBBLE

I have a cisco 800A ADSL router and i am intermittently receiving "A network Cable Is Unplugged" message Windows XP BUBBLE. Then i lose network connectivity.

Looking at the lights on the front, the CD light stays illuminated, then the ethernet RXD and TXD go off then the port 4 light goes out (Ethernet i have my NIC connected to), then i lose the CD light the after about a minute the ethernet RXD/TXD light start to flash again and the network/ internet connection is re-established, as if the router has self reloaded.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you already check your hardware? ie. NIC / Ethernet cable?
