I am thinking of buying one of the two but I can't decide. I'm using already Sygate personal firewall, the thing I want is NAV. The price for NAV Pro 2 licences is the same as Norton Internet Security 2 licences, so the only thing is that with the first one I get the pro version of NAV, NIS has the standard version only. What's the difference between NAV pro and standard?

The Hive | NAV Pro allows you to install it on 2 systems. The NAV included with NIS does not, and the NAV standard version does not allow for 2 computers either.

| Same NAV for both products, the only difference is one allows for 2 systems (Pro) and one does not (Standard). Oh and Pro includes a simple utility to delete files on your system, while the standard does not.

The Hive | If you need the Firewall then get NIS.
If you have 2 systems and need an AV for 2 systems, then get NAV Pro. ( A good firewall can be downloaded free from the net. Like ZAFree, Sygate, etc....)

| The file deleting option is not something to blow money on. It is not that good. You can easily download a free version of a file deleting program that does more and works on as many systems you have at the house or office.

Btw, I'll get the Japanese version of the software. Is it possible to download the trial version(English) and just input the product key there so that I'll get the English version to work? |
