| [SW Ontario] Cogeco Upgraded Speeds Again?
Well, it's too early to tell, but it seems that cogeco may have upgraded speeds, this is my speedtest, and it has been like this all day:
'»/speedtests/46···71780575'
I've confirmed the upload speed by uploading to the cogeco ftp at 76 kB/s. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered these speeds as well. I am on the residential package by the way, not Pro. |

Also, if some people are not getting these "new speeds"...they might want to reset their modem so the "new?" config file is downloaded

3 edits | reply to Execration Wow! »/speedtests/78···71803863 this is after reset this happened right now the speed test is going up and down between 8mbps and 5mbps. Each test shows something in between or all the way up to 8mbps even past up to 9mbps. Upload however is still slow but hey look at the top download speeds I'm getting!(I've noticed every few speed tests a fast uplaod would show up) -- ~Tyrano2K - Owner Of RP614 Firmware Site ( »home.cogeco.ca/~firmware/ ) |

That might account for the varying speedtests |

1 edit | reply to Execration I love how, they don't make a press release, they don't make you wait months, they don't make it a big deal, they just go ahead and do it. Lol, it's great.

btw, see if you can get a speedtest of 1337 =} |
