Hub or Router? (with Westell 2200 A90)

I just got Verzion DSL with a Westell 2200 A90 modem.

I was using road runner at my previous place, with a Linksys 4 port router.

I also have a straight 5 port hub, and 2 pc's that i'm going to be running on this network. One is my PC and the other is a linux web server.

I have static ips on both, and works fine internally on the 192.168 network.

I can't get port forwarding for port 80 working on the westell. I set it up to go to the linux machine, but it just doesn't hit it.

Here's my question, is it worth the effort to set up the Westell in bridge mode and use the linksys router or am i just doing something stupid with the Westell config?

I don't exactly know how to set it up in bridge mode, but I am a computer guy and i'm sure i can figure it out.

Any recommendations?
thanks

I've run nothing but bridge mode and a 2200 is just the latest running that mode. If you are used to the LinkSys environment you'll like it.

But be absolutely sure port 80 isn't being blocked by some other method, too. Many ISPs blocked it for awhile.

Well, I called Verizon and they do block port 80. So, I'm going to try and run apache on a different port. My question is still, is it better to use the westell (2200 A90) firewall/router or the linksys (BEFSX41)?

Like I said, right now i'm using the westell w/a basic switch.
