 There goes the neighborhood!

This turn of events makes me even more glad I chose Dish Network over DirecTV all those years ago...

well,I also prefer DN because their program menu is better than DT,in the DT remote you search for channels pressing the up arrow and the list go down, stupid, also the DN system respond is faster than DT,I mean when you are checking every single channel.
I know.,those negatives comment about DT are very easy to get use to,but I don't understand why they design a remote control, which is so obvious to press up and the channel list should go from channel 1 and up,but is not.

lol

This is true. I get caught everytime I want to go up one music channel. I do have a question for you since you have DISH. Do they have a same canned music that is looped? I dislike hearing the same songs over and over till they put in a new loop.

I should of asked Santa for a 6 CD changer.

I fully agree about the DTV remote being upside down!
However I find DN response time to be horrible compared to DTV. DTV tunes a channel almost as fast as analog cable while my DN takes several seconds before video is available.
This is not true with the very old DTV receivers from several years ago. They were really slow but the ones DTV sells now are very fast. I did just dump DTV for DN and was very disappointed by how slow the DN receiver responds. Other than this I'm very happy with DN.
