1 edit | Ok, I'll try  but it takes a long time, be patient. I have to send smoke signals to the neighboring hills, where mountain indians chisel my message onto dried tree bark. Then it's carried up to the observatory by pony where the local scientists re-enter my message and post it to the internet. Getting a response takes even longer!

Now, if was just under 50 bucks, it'd be perfect. |

My first, Telocity then DTV was always rock solid consistent and fast. Likely more a Verizon or whoever NH is now issue. (remember with Covad the only Verizon part of connection is literally the line to your house... others you also go through a lot of Verizon data network to get to your ISP POP)
I really don't care for BS as an ISP (BSFA) but their infrastructure most areas is rock solid.

| Hi Hayward, I remember you from the Telocity/DTV days.
Telocity/DTV was Verizon from my house, through the CO and down to the DTV POP in Cambridge.
Covad is on a Verizon leased line, but they have their own DSLAM here in the CO.
Verizon's not bad, but whenever there is the occasional problem it's usually their fault. I've specifically avoided using them as a full solution, but only because I don't have to. |
