I would not be suprised if they put it on there, intentionally. Best buy is a rip off.
The only thing I buy from there now are blank CD's and DVD's.
They probably wanted to pay you $50 for their anti-virus removal.

They probably hooked it up to the bench's LAN and another system that was infected hit your system since both were not patched. |
