The computer world is full of benchmark jockeys. You know the type. They load up their computers with enough cooling fans to make the box sound like a 747 on takeoff, so they can squeeze an extra few mhz out of their overclocked CPUs. The fact that those few extra cycles aren't noticeable while playing games or running serious applications isn't an issue, since those people are far too busy running benchmarks to bother playing games or using serious applications anyway.
