Connecting Playstation Network adaptor?

Is it possible to use Road Runner for Playstation on-line gaming? I am trying to help my brother set it up. Thanks.

Dayton, OH		 Just went online an hour ago with mine. I do have a router, but that shouldn't matter... In my case, where it asks if you have to login with a username/password, I said "no". After that, all the defaults choices were right.
