|  WAP for Bellsouth/ Westell 2100 modem/router
I have Bellsouth DSL with Westell 2100 as the Modem/router. I need to connect my laptop for wireless networking through a WAP. I have the option of getting a WAP from Netgear/ D-Link or Linksys and am looking for some advice on which one to buy. I am getting a deal on Netgear 802.11a WAP but not sure of frequency match with Westell 2100? Any help will be appreciated!

| Since Westell Wirespeed 2100 is not a Wireless Router, you do not need to bother about the AP standard.
However the AP standard is determined by the standard of the Adapter you use. Hence if you use 11a Adapters then choose an 11a AP.
In my opinion I would rather prefer to use the new 11g models. |
