| Official Speed Tests Thread
Post some speedtests of your fiber connection.
State your advertised (or estimate if you don't know) bandwidth and where you use it at, your service provider (if avail.), and some computer specs might be cool also -- type/speed of NIC, processor, etc.
You can use any speedtest you want as long as it's accurate (the test file used is already compressed).

It's fun to lag other websites. My speeds range from 85mbps to 12mbps in these tests. I test downloaded a service pack from microsoft.com at 3.59mb/sec. my provider is »www.choopa.com/

I have FTTH through a PON system. I live in a condo complex so we have the MDU setup. My ISP is less than two years old and plans to double those speeds in the near future. I pay $80/month for telephone, CATV, and internet.
