| I think those are your only options at present. I've been looking around for several months for options on my B&W 450. I decided the best route is to sell it and just get a G4. Here's why:
The upgrades for the G3 are in the $300 range. A current G3 is worth something in the $300 range. A 3-4 year old G4 is in the $600 range.
Naturally there are lots of variations around those prices, but that's generally the ballpark.
Downside is the hassle of buying, selling and reconfiguring, but the upside is you have an Apple-built G4 with somewhat less risk of future OS compatibility issues (less, but not zero, of course).
