07-83 | Cant ping gateway???
Using Trace Route from pcpitstop.com I cant ping my gateway! Doesn anybody know why Im not able to ping my gateway. It just says unable to reach 216.254.112.1 Whats up with that? |

07-83 | Another thing, Im not too familiar with DSL as ive only had it for a few months. But how is it possible I used to get a consistent 7ms to my first hop and now i get 34+ms? |

Where are you located? I was having MAJOR connection issues tonight. At one point, I did have some sort of connection, but I was gettin wicked bad pings. SE said they could see my modem, but saw no traffic coming back their way. I checked again about 10 min ago, and it seems okay. I almost never have trouble unless its a POP issue.

We filter 92 byte ICMP packets in the majority of our POPs - if this applet is utilizing that packet size to traceroute, it's going to fail.
Can you provide me with your account information via email? I'd like to look into your account to see if there's anything I can do to escalate your issue.

| my gateways as well as all other pings has pretty much doubled since sfo upgrade i have had a tigket open since 12/12 nothing has been resolved all they did was have covad depro repro wich did nothing as the problem is not the backhaul its the saturtation on the routers i know it they know it but yet they try to bs their way out and stall hopping u just let the ticket die ,it works great for them most of the time too i bet I want my 8-10 ms gateway pings back and i want my sdsl stable when under a load thats all not alot to ask they get their payment every month no excuses i want my service no excuses simple isnt it .
Imm so fed up i dont know whats next this sucks bottom line  |
