Puretracks.com propaganda

Anyone see the TV commercial for puretracks.com ?

It shows a young kid, about 12 years old,
getting busted in his house by a SWAT team,
and then loaded in the back of a truck,
labelled "BIOHAZARDOUS..." ...

And it ends... with their corporate slogan
"No virus, no porn, no spyware"

Thoughts ? Comments ?

...99 cents...per track, I guess.

I'd take a look at it, but their website doesn't allow anyone in unless they're in Canada.

It's a pretty bad commercial, it isn't as much an add selling the service, but rather fear mongering pushing computer (semi)illiterate parents to force their children off P2P and (hopefully) onto puretracks. Puretracks itself was launched sometime during October last year as a (the first) Canadian copy of services like iTunes, and isn't really an innovative service by any means. But it did get quite lot of press coverage here in Canada.

Yeah, that commercial made me want to vomit. 99 cents? Gonna have to do better than that...

Yep. Well, if you're going to advertise something in Canada, for Canadians only, it better not be in any other currency.
