FYI: I found this post because I switched out routers and thought that my new router kept the AT&T client from working. My connection kept trying to negotiate with the VPN servers but never connected. Not quite the same errors listed above, but the same result -- no VPN.

After digging around, I found that the "Net Firewall Service" was un-selected and needs to be selected in your network card properties.

System: Windows XP
Routers: SMC or UGate

Win2K Cisco 350 wireless NIC Cisco 350 AP MTS 5.05.1 I went back through and tried all the other options I have found, UDP checkbox, forwarding certain ports, MTU, etc... and nothing broke my access once net firewall was turned on.

user123456789 @pacbell.n	Re: NIGHTMARE - AT&T Global Network Client + Links I have DI-604. Just enable the Virtual Server (IPSec). And this works. See Advanced-->Virtual Server, and then Edit the IPSec to enter the IP address of your machine on your LAN.
